Open Day Brigade vehicles HR

Since its beginnings as the Wentworth Falls Volunteer Bushfire Brigade in 1959, the Brigade has been an important part of the Wentworth Falls community, providing fire protection and other forms of assistance in times of need. Wentworth Falls Rural Fire Brigade is now one of over 2,000 local brigades across New South Wales that form the Rural Fire Service.

Although our role is centred around the provision of bushfire suppression and mitigation services, we undertake a diverse range of activities that include assisting other emergency services with storm and flood relief, search and rescue assistance, and occasional snow related operations. We also deliver community engagement programs to help our community be better prepared for bushfires and participate in various other community-based events. Our members are highly trained and experienced, and are dedicated to helping you before, during and after an emergency.

Should you wish to get in touch with us, our details are available on the 'contact us' page.
