Since its inception as the Wentworth Falls Volunteer Bushfire Brigade, the Brigade has been an important part of the Wentworth Falls community, providing fire protection services and various forms of assistance in times of need. Now as part of the state-wide Rural Fire Service, the Brigade has become part of one of the world's leading fire and emergency services, and participates in bushfire, storm damage, flood recovery, search and rescue and snow patrol operations.
